What is an Evidential Medium?
An evidential Medium will give you evidence to prove they are connecting to your departed loved one. The evidence will not be generic information, it will be very specific. This evidence can include, but is not limited to, names, personality traits, physical ailments, favorite past times, memories you shared with them and wording often used by your loved one. When I connect to your loved one I will describe them to you as they come through. I will give you their physical traits and even describe their personalities. Some Mediums will just say I feel a male energy, could this be a father or grandfather? There's no evidence there. Other Mediums will connect to Angels or Guides; there's nothing evidential there. I can connect to Angels and Guides as well and they do come through in sessions where the sitter is coming in wanting to hear from them; but my readings really connect you to your departed loved ones. I give you evidential proof that there's no way I could know without your departed loved one telling me.
What is the difference between a Psychic and a Medium?
A psychic tunes into the energy of a person by feeling or sensing energy from that person's past, present and future. Psychics use their intuition and psychic ability to provide a reading. A medium takes it a step further and tunes into the spirit energy surrounding the person sitting for a reading. A medium raises their vibration, as spirit lowers their vibration and we met in the middle to communicate. There's a saying - All mediums are psychic but not all psychics are mediums. As a medium I use the four main clairs - clairvoyance, clairaudience, clairsentience and claircognizance in my readings.
Why do you not call yourself a psychic?
I am psychic but the word does not resonate with me. It's as simple as that. I prefer to call myself Intuitive. I feel both are used together all the time.
I never had a reading and I'm nervous, will you tell me bad news?
There is no reason to be nervous, but it is a very common feeling. I connect with God's energy and provide only messages that are loving and healing. No need to worry about anything negative, only love and light messages from me.
What can I expect during the reading?
All my readings are healing experiences. I will bring through your loved ones as they appear to me. I am able to see, hear, feel and just know Spirit is present. I provide evidential proof, as well as the essence of their soul in order for you to know it is your loved one. From there I will give you messages that your loved ones would like me to give you. It is my job to translate what I get from them and communicate it to you. My conversations with your loved ones will provide healing and comfort to you. I cannot control who comes through, so I ask you to come with an open mind and no expectations. People who do that, end up with some of the best readings. One thing is for sure, Spirit always shows up!
Are readings confidential?
Absolutely! I do not share anything with anyone, nor do I share who comes to me for a reading. I take my client's privacy very serious. I do not record sessions, nor do I take notes. Since all sessions are channeled, I do not remember anything from a session. All clients can record the session for their own personal use, however I do not.
How soon after a loved one passes, can I get a reading?
I have been able to connect to newly departed souls almost immediately. However that does not mean your loved one will come through. Your loved ones on the other side know who you need to hear from verses whom you want to hear from. Readings are more about what you need to hear and not what you want to hear. I cannot control who comes through, but the messages are always delivered in divine timing.
Is the Zoom reading as good as face to face readings?
Yes! I connect with Spirit, who isn't here in person so it makes no difference to me if we are face to face or connecting via Zoom. Your Spirit family is on the other side and all I need is your permission/openness to connect with them and we are all set. It's all about energy. Energy is everything.
Do you do group readings or parties?

What are your payment options?
Payment is required at time of booking. No appointment is confirmed until payment is received. I accept all major credit cards, PayPal, Zelle or Venmo.
Cancellations & Refunds
In the event you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, 48 hour written notice via email is needed. Please send any cancelation or reschedule requests to contact@cindycookmedium.com. Failure to provide written notice will result in an additional $50 inconvenience fee when rescheduling your next appointments. If you are late to a session, I will try my best to honor your time, but I cannot go over our scheduled time slot. I will hold the time slot for 15 minutes. If you do not show up, I consider this to be a no show. I do not refund or reschedule no shows.
